Coastal Supply Group was originally founded in March 1972 as Coastal Plumbing Supply, by Alexander A. Federico, Jr. Al, a tradesman from Brooklyn in the early 60’s, wanted to get involved in the business of plumbing supplies. He acquired a small, Staten Island-based supply house in the Stapleton section of Bay Street and later opened a Kitchen & Bath Showroom on New Dorp Lane serving the local Staten Island market. He built the company around customer service and offering high quality products at competitive prices.
Today, with over 65 dedicated employee’s Coastal Supply Group continues its growth, acquiring Swan Pump & Supply in Freehold, Monmouth County, New Jersey in the summer of 2019. This acquisition gives Coastal a competitive advantage and expands its product line offerings to also include Pumps, Wells, Drainage, Irrigation, and Landscape Lighting. Now with 6 fully-stocked branches operating within the New York & New Jersey area, Coastal Supply Group will continue to expand its footprint and deliver excellent customer service to all those we encounter.
